Marriage License Application

- If you are divorced, it must be final.
- You must know the month, year, city, and state of the divorce finalized decree.
- If you are under the age of 18 and over the age of 16, you must have parental consent.
- If you are under the age of 16, you must have a court order.
General Information
State of Nevada sanctioned marriages are recognized throughout the world.
- Cost: The license fee is $55.00 cash. No appointment is necessary.
- Payment is to be made in cash. No checks or credit-cards accepted.
- Blood Test:
- There is no blood test and no waiting period after a license is issued.
- Application:
- Both parties must appear at the Marriage License Bureau, 1st floor, 201 West Clark Avenue.
- Marriage Ceremonies in the state of Nevada:
- Ceremony must be performed, in the State of Nevada.
- Ceremony must be perfomed by a person licensed, or authorized, to perform marriage ceremonies in the State of Nevada.
- Ceremony must be perfomed within one year from date of issuance of the marriage license.
- The ceremony may be performed in any Wedding Chapel, Church or the Civil Marriage Commissioner.
- Witness: There must be at least one additional witness other than the person performing the ceremony.
